I am sure it is a nice air rifle for sure but I can't personally justify spending that kind of money. I will have to say, I thought about getting one of those .357 cal air rifles that use standard projectiles.

The powder I used during the above-described chamber-ringing incident was Alliant 2400/10.0 grains. I'll be back in a bit, I need to go buy that lottery ticket now.

I have never ringed a chamber using dacron, and have used a bit of it, but use it as described above by Larry. I do remember reading at least one article in the 1980's about several 308 chambers being ringed in one season of cast bullet competition,...

I went with Granite the last two times "Two Houses". My last house, the one that I live in now, I have Granite counter tops and an island out of a slab of 1-1/4" Granite. It ain't cheap but it is permanent.

I have three house dogs and they are all Liberal Democrats. They have free housing, free utilities, free health care, free food, free stuff and they don't have to work. All they do is lay around and complain "whine", usually wanting more free stuff...

I reshape all of my hats when needed and I have a number of them. A steamer and a bit of patience is all you need. If you don't have a steamer a pot of boiling water will work. Hold the hat over the pot to soak up the steam. Work on one area at a...

I ruined a nice rifle chamber in a nice Win 94 a few years ago via use of dacron wadding left lofted over small-bulk powder charges--caliber was 25/35 WCF, rifle was a flatband example (insert serial cuss words {HERE}). I salvaged the matter by...

Well, Fiocchi brass has been good stuff for me in all respects. $20/1K is a killer price, too. If shipping doesn't bite ya too hard, it might be a good gamble.

I have my grandmother's 5 shot H&R 32S&W. I bought a box of buckshot, size them to fit, and load over 1gr BE. It's a fun little gun, can almost hide it in my hand. I load them on my TrueLine Jr., too.

Hold up the bullet next to a primed case and see how far the shank goes in when loaded. Fill the case to this level with 4227 and weigh the charge. That's your load. It will go about 1100-1300 FPS depending on barrel length and run about 26,000...

As I read about dacron fillers I am seeing the general consensus is to leave the dacron fluffy and not push it down against the powder as that will make a wad and cause a ring in the chamber as the powder gases will compress the air between the...
