Well I called TC...they were not helpful. Pretty much what i expected, though. As soon as they found out it was pre-S&W ownership (10" barrel, so that dates it I guess) they told me i would need to contact Williams Gun Site, who I guess makes all...

That must be it. In cold weather shooting like we do in the winter, the beeswax lube will put you totally out of business after a couple shots, until you can warm the barrel enough to get the ball down. Good reason to not use it for hunting, either....

Our range expedient method when shooting BPCR, is to get some paper towels. Start making small pieces, just a bit bigger than a cleaning patch, and tamp it into the case with a close to bore size ram rod, and continue adding until the paper is an...

I do understand that the mild load part...I would like enough elevation for light .44's to top end magnums, depending on what I'm shooting. .44 just has such a wide range of boolit weight and velocities to contend with. I know fiber optics aren't...

So my 10" .44 ate another scope yesterday morning. That makes 3 scopes in 7 years. Decided to just go back to irons as most of my .44 shooting is at steel targets (or game) inside of 100 yards. Dug around in my junk drawer for a front and rear...
