There are lots of common things that didn't exist here a few centuries ago, including white men, politicians and there are also many things now missing that were once common. It's not evolution, just that not everything follows modern mans rules....

Typical. Lawyers and bean counters found profit and earned their pay at your expense. Keep after them and document who and when you spoke. No guarantee but only the squealing wheel will get greased. I've had a similer problem with WalMart...

Most of those rocket jockeys think there "portant people". Along with loud mufflers, they are making sure you look to see who they are. The ones that make my day are the little old blue-haired ladies that are looking through the steering wheel...

The lock failed on my safe and access to its contents was impossible. A local locksmith opened and replaced the lock. Although the total price exceeded the safe value, I still have a working safe and access to the contents. Not all locksmiths...

Applying that kind of heat directly to lead is a guaranteed way to send lead oxides and vaporized lead into the air we breathe. While it's fast and it works, it's not recomended. As casters we want too live long ehough to shoot the lead we melt.

I need to rethink my situation. Many years ago (even before Hugo) I purchased a 4000 W generator from Northern. I had drop cords made up to connect to panels and meters bases. I could power essentials for my parents, myself or Son and Daughter....

After 60+ years the reason for doing it has changed, but the desire is even more intense. The sad thing is the ability to be mobile has declined to the point that it's a rare privilege to make it to the loading bench. That makes those times really...

AC and central heat sure have spoiled us. I can remember when all heat had smoke in it and only warmed one side at a time, and AC required a fan and a block of ice. Seriously, vibration in the air created by out of dynamic balance plastic blades...

Typical bean counter screwup. It worked out for pure profit on paper, and in a bean counters head that's all that counts.

Reloading needs only a trip downstairs. The range requires loading the car and a trip that leaves Granny by her self. At our age, the buddy system is safety for both of us, so I have an increasing supply of loaded ammo.

Eliminating variables can't hurt, and usually help in small degrees. Watch for primer back out or flattening.
