If it is good clean sheet lead, that is a VERY decent price!!!!! Not much involved in re-melting into usable ingots. I have process many hundreds of pounds of clean Pb sheet and pipe purchased for a buck and it re-melts very fast. Forget all the...

I have not had ANY leading in the past 4 years in ANY gun barrel using PC....on properly fit cast boolits. That is the key. I limit velocity to ~1900FPS for PC. Some go higher. I don't. I use commercial FMJ's for hi velocity rifle, which is mabe...

NLG (no lube groove) boolits are designed EXPRESSLY for use with Powder Coating....NOT grease. I have NLG molds for 223, 9mm, 38, 40, and 45 cal and can see absolutely NO difference in performance. Just use your standard groove boolit molds you...

If they are lead, YES! Get all you can. Don't waste time asking us. I thought they went to Zn sometime back. Check with HCl acid. If Pb, get 'em.

I also ask......why the heck to you think you need such hard boolits!?!?!?!?! 10-12 works for 90% of what I shoot. PC = NO LEADING/NO GREASE/NO SMOKE when shooting. Just follow correct loading techniques. You didn’t say anything about your...

Yes!!!!!!!! Lino goes a VERY long way. I cut off 1” of the stuff to sweeten my 20# pot all the time. It is easy to cut off and measure that way. I check with my Cabine tester and it always comes within 0.3% of where I want to be on...

If beeswax, you can tell by the smell off of a fresh surface. Either cut thru one or shave deep in the side and take a good whiff. Paraffin has relatively no smell but pure bees wax has a unique sweet "yummy" odor. I have some of it that is over...

Most large commercial jobs like that are bid out for removal and no amount of brewskis and donuts will get you anything. Best bet is to find where they are hauling it to (local scrap yard) and buy it there for probably a buck a pound for pure Pb. ...

It's all in the thickness. I use different cutting tools for each. I have cut Pb sheets from 1/16" thick to 1.5" thick. Each demands a different tool to get it done efficiently and with as little "sawdust" as possible! banger

The PC just floats to the top. Once it is cured, it cannot be re-liquified so it will not “mess up your pot”! I have melted down a full 20# pot of coated slugs and just skimmed off the black garbage on the surface. Treat them as dirty Pb. ...

PC is just a clean no-smoke/leading replacement for grease on PROPER FIT lead boolits. PC just replaces the grease. NOT a miricale cure for ill-fitting boolits. Make sure you check the fit of your barrel. Slug it! PC will not solve bad fit!!!!!!!!
