About once a year I empty my Lee 20lb pot and clean it out. I take out the rod and clean the tip with emery cloth or steel wool. I then clean the hole where the rod sits with an old rod spinning with polishing compound. I re-assemble the pot...

"I'll have to try arsenal on my next one." I am very happy with my Arsenal copy of the 311041. Very accurate in my 30-30. I have molds from NOE, Accurate, RCBS and now Arsenal. I will definitely buy from Arsenal again. Steve in N CA

I always took the simple approach. I started at 80% of max for the bullet/powder I was testing. I went up in .5 gr increments until extraction was sticky. This was the max in MY revolver. YMMV. I then started going down in .5 gr...

I suspect most "hunters" are just crappy shots. When I was drawing tags and hunting every year I would practice, practice, practice. I knew my model 70 was an MOA rifle and I wanted my skills to match my equipment. The end results were all one...

I put a old 6X24 Tasco on my Savage M12 223 bull barrel. It is an older model stamped "HAKKO, JAPAN" on the bottom. It has an adjustable focus on the objective and is very clear. Makes my rifle a joy to shoot.

Hello friends, I am looking to start a new adventure in casting and loading. I am almost ashamed to admit this but with all of the reloading and casting I have done I have never loaded any shotgun shells. I have never owned or even handled a...

I seat and crimp in separate operations already. When loading jacketed bullets or cast bullets of normal diameters a FCD works great. But in my microgroove barrels or barrels with oversized bores I get the best accuracy at diameters that...
