MrWolf replied to a thread Lead shot in Casting for Shotguns
When my son and I were trap shooting I started reloading. Back then shot was less than $20 a bag. I was doing well reloading my own. As megasupermagnum said with the cost of components today it is not worth it. I do agree with reloading 410 but...

I've been looking for 32 LC brass for a long time. I've even checked out of the way one man gun places to see if they might have a box squirreled away but nothing. Holding out for original vs reworked. Good luck

Might want to think about a wifi thermostat. Turn it on a bit before going out in the shop. I never tried one but just an idea. Good luck.

What about the military for job considerations or even defense contractors; the larger ones? Don't know much about engineering as I was one of those bean counters everyone on here loves :bigsmyl2:

I am in the same boat. I watched another YouTube video this morning. I would watch a bunch from different folks and see how others do things and go from there. Might be surprised how much stuff you already have. Good luck.

MrWolf replied to a thread Wet Snow in Our Town
I live on a mountain surrounded by trees and somewhat isolated. With my messed up back one of the first things I did when I moved here three years ago was getting a whole house generator and 500 gal propane tank for it. Luckily I could afford one as...

Also can find a lot of free pdfs and stuff written by Al Stohlman. Think I got a bunch from the Tandy leather website library. Lot of free patterns that you just need to tailor to your pistol.

I've been watching a lot of YouTube when doing the treadmill on making holsters. Lot of really good info. A lot of the tools I already had from just through the years stuff. You don't need to spend a lot. I got a quartz base (granite, etc are all...

Think it's best. Cover your own needs and have a place you are comfortable with. Think once you have that the relationships will be easier. Good luck.

Wouldn't it melt and cause issues or are they heat resistant enough for that brief period?

The NRA sells a decent rig for $180 which I recently bought through their store. Yeah a bit high but supporting the organization. Made me decide to try my hand at leather work while waiting for back to heal. I need a bunch of holsters :bigsmyl2:

My girlfriend just tried racking my new M&P 380 EZ. She is petite (short with a size 5 1/2 shoe) . Racking the slide was ok but had problems releasing the slide. Gun is brand new so will probably loosen up with use. Good luck.

It is interesting to see the various comments. This site is primarily about self sufficiency when you get down to it. Yes a machine like this would be a lot of work but you would learn a lot about various things. As I said, I personally don't have...
