    That sounds like a plan.wait to you see pictures of its big brother. almost done with another 45. Will post when it is finished.by the way the solid brass knob at end of grip is a head cracker if one should run out of lead and powder

    Got this one done and she works and shoots great. Maple wood and parts from eBay with a few I had laying around. No sights yet. Shoots 440 rb with 25grs 3fff

    No I used J-B bore cleaning compound but not on the patched roundball.also many passes with medium steelwool

    jim 44-40 started a thread Rust in bore in Muzzleloading.
    Picked up a Cva bobcat 50 cal cap gun cheap.Bore was in poor condition lots of rust. I did get it cleaned up but had to reblue barrel after getting rust remover on bluing and it ran down barrel.what is amazing is how well it shoots round...

    Thank you for info, do you turn counter clock wise to hit higher. Also does the front of scope tube have to be loosened before elevation changes

    Got windage perfect, now have to figure out how to adjust elevation, shooting 4 in low at 25 yards. Can't find anything on YouTube only Malcolm scope instructions
