Yep right about challenges, I get that in one draw using a walnut hill press. And it does take some serious work on the handle. Drawing a .45 ACP from >.473 down to .448 would be much easier in two steps on a heavy duty reloading press. I'm...

I made a size die that brings 45 autos to .448 diameter. If you don't have a lathe, a inexpensive, but time consuming way of making such a die is as simple as a lee bullet size die, .430 diameter, a wooden dowel, the end split with a hacksaw cut,...

clodhopper replied to a thread Evanix Rifles in AirGuns
I bought a used Evanix airspeed .22. Only had it a couple months, it came with a few goodies to sweeten the deal. It does not have the accuracy you might expect from the price point. As in it does not pile them al into one hole at 25 yards. It...

Depending on hw much work you want to put into it, they could be utilized for any projectile from 30- 38 caliber. Some swagers are even using the scrap from cutting to .300 BO, and making bullets out of the neck shoulder portion.

A local store has a Styer Scout, straight pull rifle priced at $400. I fondled it, worked the action, Nice. Marveled at the huge klunky safety, umm, it's not a leaver, or a button, fixture? But with finger in the trigger guard seems OK. ...

Thanks, It seems PCP air guns are not only under size bore diameter compared to powder burners. But also prefer a bullet just a little smaller than bore size. Like .0005-.001 under bore size.

Search for Baker air guns. They can fix it, or sell a kit, including a very reasonably priced special tool including instructions so you can fix it.

My interest in a single shot tray come from attending some schutzen rimfire matches. One club where I have shot will let you shoot any .22 rf rifle, but requires you to single load during the match. This is fired indoors, and I really would...

clodhopper replied to a thread Powder coat in AirGuns
If you have pellets that are too small, powdercoat will add a bit of diameter. Many pellets are lightly oiled in the manufacturing process, that oil could give some trouble. I have powdercoated 45 bullets that had been lubed in liquid alox. ...

Stick some tape or opaque paint on top of that fiber optic will help keep it from burning your retina. Of course that will not help the round shape.
