Hogtamer replied to a thread Crisis of faith ? in Our Chapel

Famous last words for a reason! Making disciples is serious business in Kingdom work and most of us are seriously (myself foremost) deficient in this great responsibility. The apostles set the example and the 12 changed the world for all time. ...

Hogtamer replied to a thread Hulls in Casting for Shotguns
Taylor, Over the years I have narrowed my choice of hulls. It used to be the old style AAs, but the new HS AAs have a rim of plastic in the bottom that will grab the lip of a wad powder seal and not allow proper seating. Now for all shot loads I...

There is a time and a season for every purpose under heaven and prayers are never in vain. A lot of pertinent comments here and what I am still learning, as has already been stated is that prayer changes me, not God. Prayer is about my...

They're not meant to be roll crimped on the thin wad petals. Don't trim and fold crimp. I guess I don't know what you're trying to accomplish with the extra work involved??

Best season start in a while. Shot the same field as last Sat. and there where a lot more birds. Everybody except a novice and an 11 year old got the limit in some gusty breezes.

Good for your discerning spirit Traffer. You highlight the thing that has been the chief stumbling block in my walk with God.....the dreaded "S" word, submit! James didn't mince words in chapter 4 and submission to God and humility are still not my...

Another good day in the dove field. Again a bunch of dads with kids, 3 killed their first dove today. A stout and gusty wind had the birds juking and jiving that made it especially fun and challenging. Most of the dads got the limit or close. ...

It's possible if you're younger and prepared! I'm not and wasn't this day so they fed the buzzards and coyotes. Blowflys on them quick. I do purpose to put up a couple at least every year for sausage (fat added and well cooked) or special...

Ain't it fun! Ooo those BPI plated buckshot are pricey but they are good quality. You will find them undersized a bit so if you want true "book" diameter buy a size larger. Those are good killing patterns hunton and will be ample to take the...
