    Buy 1.5x the size you think you might need and get a conversion kit for a few hundred bucks that will let you run both propane and gas in it. If you in Texas consider solar and wind to power your cabin as primary or backup

    Yeah. I've got a HF generator and it runs with no problems. I'd give one of the quiet gens they sell a shot for the price. Wife's parents RV 8 months a year and they use the Honda for about everything. Swear by it.

Biography:
Grew up in rural VT on the Quebec border hunting, fishing and trapping. Worked on a dairy farm, cut pulp etc. Paratrooper and was in on the Grenada vacation, Degree in Wildlife Biology with minors in Behavior and Organic Chemistry. Staff Biologist in an environmental company, helped write one of the 10yr Mgt Plans for The Grand Canyon, cruised timber then started driving a truck. 3.5 million safe miles and counting. Been to all lower 48 and most of Canada. Traveled all over the world from very bad places to good but The USA is the best place on this world
