Last night I loaded up 10 32 H&R Mag using newly cast 90gr Lee 50/50 boolits over 3gr Promo. Dug out some Win spp to load up some 40cal as the S&B primers looked strange to me after firing. Loasing over 7.0gr Power Pistol using a 150gr Nosler HP

I've bought lower kits from several including Anderson, PSA, S&W etc. Last 2 were from Black Rifle Depot. All worked fine. Geissele is the drop in i see most often mentioned on forums but i have no experience with them

The 10 I loaded this afternoon had the OAL lengthened from 1.1 to 1.3in. The velocity dropped about 50-75fps but tightened with a variance of 30fps and was in the 1,000 fps range. Still the strange primer flow pattern. All the brass ejected strongly...

Nobade for the win. Might be an interesting shooter but your spidey sense was correct that something was off. Buy if it you get a good price but remember you are getting what you pay for. I've bought a couple of these. Some shot really good, some...

As you can see, the flow go's from the firing pin strike down towards the 1900-2000 position. The primer is not flattened or cratered. Brass is not cracked, bulged and the primer hole itself is not expanded. Everything but this flow appears normal...

German Target Pistol in .22 either short or long. Doesn't have an octagon barrel but some of these can go in the $1,000 and up range to collectors. Like the one below:

Marvin, it's not the firing pin strike which is a little odd but doesn't bother me. The primer itself has a little "river" running away from the strike point. You can't feel it but can see it.

jonp replied to a poll How many molds in Cast Boolits
I have several and they work well for me. Lee puts out equipment for those of us that like to reload or cast but don't have $100 to spend on a mold. All of my Lee molds cast perfectly well. I just dropped a bunch of 90gr 32H&R Mag boolits and they...

I've been working with a SW M&P Full Size. My boss gave me most of a pound of Power Pistol and I've been loading it under Nosler 150gr Sporting Pistol HP's. I just loaded up some at 6.9gr and an OAL of 1.1in as the book gave that for a Gold Dot...

Yup. I keep a damp shop rag on the side to cool the mold down. As mentioned, the Lyman pot(s) I have only give a rough temperature and I have to keep moving the knob up and down to maintain the temp. Frosty boolits don't bother me much, they hold...

I think I'm going to try it without the annealing step to start. If I can't get it to work well, I found plans for a really great (consistent) auto-annealer that can be built for under $100, so I'll probably go that route if it becomes necessary. ...

Kel Tec P-3AT. Bought my wife and I each one of these. Neither worked reliably with any type of ammunition but the biggest thing was Man Mountain Dean couldn't pull the trigger on one of these and hit anything. Must have been 20lbs.

God's work. He is to be commended for this. There are many out there doing things like this in the shadows that we never hear of. They are not in it for the publicity or to get on Youtube. They do it for the warriors who gave so much for us.
