Good on you Thomas! Agree with you on the Hipoint. They get a lot of flack but mine has been trouble free. I did have an issue at one point, one magazine was not right. Was causing some failures to feed. So I did a comparison with the...

Well I have one of the H&R's in .357mag. I never saw any point in reaming it to max. For me it is not a matter of getting more powder in there. As I am only loading 4.6 grains of Red Dot in mine as it is. The .360DW brass does let me set the...

how far were you for those head shots, that would have been ugly in real life, that's for sure!!! also, does the 690 cut the petals when it goes through the barrel? I have heard that 678 is better for wads, and 735 for non- petal type wads and cyl...

It is possible, start on evilbay. There are a couple of threads on the subject including one started by me. I did mine all up for about 150$ You will want a good stash of 1-300 lbs of good wheel weight lead smelted in ingots before you start.

Why not? I just bought a pair of H&R revolvers, both 2.5" barrels, one nickle, one blued. Both in .32 SW long and both in nice shape. Less than 300$ into the pair, although FFL fees will creep that up a smidge. Bought 500 new starline brass,...

do most 375H&H mags have enough "meat" in the barrels to bore them out to the 416 Remington mag? or would it be batter to make the bigger recoil jump from 30 caals and 12ga slugs to the 416? my thinking was, to avoid flinching and other accuracy...

Last time wife brought home pewter I checked the tin price, it was 10.60 per pound at that point. So I was aiming to stay under 5$ per pound my cost. I got lucky, she brought home 6.25 pounds for 11$ cost. And I am one happy camper. And I...

I have noticed that cast bullets either lubed or unlubed seem to turn dark gray more slowly in sealed containers compared to ones open to the air. So lately everything is getting lubed and locked down.

was looking into this in the load books and it seems straight forward, am I correct? also, using a CZ550 in 375H&H, do you think there's enough meat to bore it out to 416 rem mag? also wondered if JE went that large in caliber.thanks-Travis

I got started a long long time ago. Friend of mine ran a shoe repair shop with some sporting goods, fishing tackle, guns and ammo on the side. He sold me a dandy Rem 788 in .243 win. But all you could find for ammo was 80 or 100 grain soft...

You familiar with Kydex? Pretty easy to form that stuff. I suspect you could add clips to a slide on model pretty easy with just a couple of strips a half inch wide and a couple of rivets.
