Bullet fit is king. HT adds some size to your cast. Lube won't. Hence the leading. So you either need to cast/size them a few thousands larger, or stick with the HT.

Well the Arkansas trip was a huge success. We did NOT want to go home after 6 weeks. Dog did not want to go home either. We are loaded up, headed out in a couple of hours. First step is to pick up the trailer where I left it parked in a...

Thank you Traffer for that post. Personally I like them, good enough fit and finish for what it costs. Mine has given me no troubles at all. It was just frustrating because I was feeding it the wrong ammo. But that is on ME, not the gun. ...

I used to be a die hard Remington Fan. Dumped em back in the 80's when they changed the lube on their .22lr. And 870 Wingmasters were no longer available, it was all 870 express, or similar dumbed down versions. **** wood, **** fit/finish, nothing I...

Why? As in a clip point or drop point? You want an inward curved blade?

Depends on what you are looking for. I have picked up 3 from Gun Broker over the last 2 years. Pair of H&R 2.5" double action in .32sw long, one blued, one nickle. And a NIB Ruger New Model Single Six in .32 H&R mag. That one should be easy...

Alloy does make a huge difference. I tried cutting the clip on wheel weights from 100% down, about the time I hit 20% and the rest range scrap and pure things started going funky. 50/50 was ok, and is what I would recomend unless you have over 400...

I deprime with a Frankford Arsenal hand depriming unit. Then brass gets citric acid wash, a brush goes into primer pocket and each one is inspected, hand rolled on a towel laid on my leg. Splits, problems to to be pretty obvious. Once processed...

Agree with Capn Morgan, and Rattlesnake. If your reloader has a spring to compress powder/wad, USE IT. Whatever you are doing to seal that brass hull you need something that works better, has more resistance. And I agree with Capn Morgan...

Well mine is 22 years old, still in good shape. But you have to remember that you can buy 3 or 4 of those Heritage single sixes for what a single ruger will cost you. Ruger will have better sights, good fit and finish. All depends on what you...

I too would buy a set of Pistol dippers in .1 graduations. I also make my own. Took a piece of cut off flat bamboo stick 1/2" wide, 4" long. with tape put a .22mag brass on one end. .22lr on the other. Took virtually nothing to tune that .22lr...

When my 10 point was mounted the Taxidermist had made a vertical cut into the skull behind the antlers, some 2 to 3 inches, made about a 4" deep cut. Then a horizontal cut from the front, leaving a 1/4 circle of the skull. He then used that...

I got mine 22 years ago in Brookings SD, pawn shop. Got my father in law to come fill out the paperwork for it. I'll be honest, I struggled with it for 20 years. I WANTED it to shoot. But with the .22lr cylinder it just never would group well....
