SOURDOUGH PANCAKES Any pancake batter is simply a flour batter with milk, eggs, sugar, salt and liquid fat, with some kind of leavening. Use your favorite recipe, but substitute starter for most of the flour and liquid, and omit baking...

Authentic Sourdough Waffles This recipe also works equally well for pancakes. We like to make double the amount and use half as waffles, half as pancakes, freezing the extras to stick in the toaster another morning! Heat the butter in a pan...

I haven't tried it yet, but I want to try powder coating some buckshot instead of plating it. I powder coated some sabot slugs just to see if they would be visible in flight. Haven't had a chance to load them yet and find out!

My personal gun show "dream gun" varies from day to day, week to week, month to month, and gun show to gun show, but the last one of interest that I spotted at a recent gun show was an "as new" C. Sharps 1874 Hartford Sporter in .50-70 Government...

Although I have a handful of modern lever actions, most of my collection are old original levers, single shots, and bolt actions and I shoot them all! That's what they were made for, plus there is just something special about getting an old rifle...

Two years ago I finally broke down and bought myself an Annealeez automatic annealing unit. I'd been hand annealing for years, but this little unit takes a LOT of the work out of the process. I anneal all of my brass regardless of calibre, it just...

I found this cornbread recipe online years ago and it turns out so well that it has become my "go to" version. And yes, unfortunately it does contain a bit of sugar so I guess I'm a heathen ... [smilie=l: I think that part of the secret to...

Going to be doing something similar. I bought a Ballard at auction that was supposed to be chambered in .22 LR, but when I got it in hand it turned out that it's actually got a .22 liner and is chambered in .218 Bee. I don't want to shoot high...
