At the moment the only 20 gauge cases I load are AA’s or REM STS . So it was one or the other more then likely AA’s .

I bought a flat of 20 gauge 2 3/4” that’s loaded with #1 buck . It’s made by an Eastern European company and was relatively inexpensive by the flat . It contained 10 rwentyfive round boxes , I kept three boxes and sold the other seven and got my...

Used 16 #2 buck in a SP-20 wad with three 9mm cases of buffer . Pushed all of that with SR7625 , don’t remember the charge off the top of my head but I’m sure it wasn’t the max or the lightest . You need to understand my criteria is to make loads...

I’ve got a circa 1988 Benelli Montefeltro 12 gauge 24” I picked up right before hunting season and while I’ve not loaded any three inch stuff for it YET I did try factory 3” with #1 , 00 and 000 with Patternmaster , Carlson’s , Tru-Loc and Kicks ....

Thanks, I walked into the gun shop and the owner says “I’ve got something you need to see”. 2 minutes later I was figuring out how to pay for it.

You can buy ready made 2 1/2” shells from RST and they’re loaded in pressure levels that are okay for damascus or steel twist .

I read an article by Mike Venturino in the current GUNS magazine, article is on 1873 Winchesters. He says the 45 Colt brass made today is too thick/hard to seal properly with low pressure loads appropriate to the '73 and you get some gas blowback. ...

A few pics. I haven't shot mine a lot yet, I'm still kinda researching what are safe loads for the 1873 action. Believe it or not Lil Gun makes the most velocity at the lowest pressure in 357 Mag loads. I love this little rifle, wouldn't change...

Yeah I've been debating a new one that a few bucks more then you paid . But I'd rather have an older period correct case . The other Browning luggage hard cases I have are all pre 1975 or so and I'd like to find one for the A-5 for barrels up to 32"...

They are fine rifles. Since you’re in Kansas, there’s a chance I sold it when it was new. I sold a pile of them when I worked for Rusty’s in Wichita.

The guide gun version of the 444 was the 444P, and had 1:20 twist barrels. Glad to hear Remington is bringing back the 444.

My Browning B92 has aggravated me to no end. The bore is oversize, and it has the ridiculous 1:38 twist. I also have a B92 in 357 that will shoot rings around the 44. I've had half a dozen Marlins in 44 Magnum, not satisfied with any of them. ...
