I've wondered that myself. I don't know much about the machinery but I feel certain they have the capability to build some pretty awesome rifles. I know it takes more than that but it's a shame, all that equipment and nobody seems to care.

Wow! Sorry you're having such a tough time, Lloyd. I hope they get you straightened out enough to go hunting. I know you're tougher than what's aggravating you now, you'll get thru it just fine.

On a wildlife refuge it likely cannot stay there over 24 hours or so. I have a small pop-up blind and have been disappointed in it, seems its always windy when I want to use it and I never seem to see anything when I sit in it. I'd rather use...

I spent a few days in Cody, Wyoming and a day in Raton last month, I hated leaving both places. Lots of places I wanted to stop along the way, just no time in a tight itinerary. I was up in Cody for a Winchester collector show and spent most of the...

I bought a used Remlin 1895 in 45-70 a year or so ago, no complaints other than the ugly wood. Fit, finish and function is excellent. It even shoots on a par with my JM Guide Gun and that's saying something. In the interests of full disclosure I'm a...

I prefer not to access gun or gun related sites at work. I even avoid conversations about guns with co-workers. It's just too much of a distraction, I prefer to stay focused on what I'm doing. Besides, if I surfed gun sites all day I wouldn't have...

I recently read an article about Unique powder and the author had good luck using it in a 40-82 because it bumped up the bullet diameter like black powder does. I have had good luck with Unique with most light cast loads. Worth a shot.

People have also been posting that without the correct filter it will ruin your camera. Seems a lots of disagreement on this one. Except you wont get a very good image with a cell phone anyway. So I will pass, we will just watch it on the news.
