I'm like you, really don't need another rifle. And like you I have been looking at the Henry singles. I was lucky enough to get a few H&R's before they got expensive. .223 ultra was first. Sent it in and got one of the last barrels fitted in...

The standard rear sight is the buckhorn style and not drift adjustable but that was removed and a Stevesgunz bolt mounted peep sight was installed.

Saw this brass today at the range..... thinking maybe it's to have consistent seating depth? Picture is turned but you can see the 'ledge' in there. Head stamp is Maxxtech.

Hardball isn't necessary for your application, 50/50 ww/pure would be fine. However, you need to size to your throats. Welcome aboard!

If it's just for one Parrish and in the absence of any other memorial then I would be deeply offended. As mentioned, I'd contact the VFW, DAV and American Legion and let them sort it out.

Same in most of the rest of this country. There are not many places they are not considered to be nuisance animals. Also, I suspect if the OP had been in a state that it was not legal to shoot a beaver...he would not have shot it...much less...

Finally got out to shoot a recently acquired Rossi 92 44mag and found it's shooting about 4" left at 25 yards. What tool do I need to be able to adjust while at the range? The sight looks pretty well centered over the barrel and 4" @ 25 yards seems...

Went to range today to play with some loads to include a plinking load and one my wife would enjoy shooting. Loaded some .357 cases with 3gr of Bullseye. Wow! Was only able to shoot at 25 yards today at a very small target that was more than covered...

Thank you Blackwater. Yes, in my opinion you first have to be "ok" in your own head. Be able to shut off the distractions, be able to stop "thinking" and anticipating. Once you learn that trick. To ask a question, and just listen to the silence....

Blackwater you are entirely correct sir. You really have to wonder just who is behind a religion that is preaching death to unbelievers, not to mention 72 virgins for those who die for that religion. What about those poor 72 virgins? I have a...

For 40 years I was a goat, and I followed my own will. I would not be lead by the still waters. I took my food from the rocky steeps not the green pastures. Then the Lord called me, come William Thomas, come, be my sheep. Feed my sheep, defend my...

My .357 is a handi rifle, single shot. Has done 100 yard cloverleafs. Mostly I'm not good enough for it these days so it stays in the safe. 4.6 grains of Red Dot, .358 158 gr Round nose, CCI primer. Quiet, I was shocked the first time I pulled...

And I agree with her, I think she's right. I think your both smarter than MyGyver. And I think an SKS that would handle .38 specials and .357's would be an awesome rifle. Keep the speed around 1200 fps, no need for gas checks, good...
