    Did you flux it seveal times with sawdust and then some wax and the stuff still come back like realy fast.is it just a thin film on top this would be oxidation.Or is it more like oatmeal floating? this may be some sort of contamination.some alloys...

    wow My kind of pot.And bottom pour to boot.Just a sugestion if you ever fill her up you might want a few people to help.Now on your nest slow boring day you need to make lots of ingot molds lol.Very nice melter for sure
