I like the old 450 and 550 Dillon measures, also use the RCBS uniflow with a micrometer adjustment to develope loads. These work the best for me.

My bud gave me a Krag cut down rifle to put back together and one of the issues was a funky homemade lower sling swivel. I built a jig to hold the stock and used my 1/2 inch mill to cut out the old mortise so it was square. Then I used a piece of...

My Dillon 550 catchers work fine, I’ll have an occasional primer pop out of the cup on my Lyman T2s. I prime and deprime on my presses . Prime off press for rifle.

My shop warmed up today so I was able to install the Little Machine Shop belt drive unit to replace my busted gear. Very nicely made unit, aluminum pulleys and bases. Everything went together without a problem. Used a block of wood and brass hammer...

I can see it when forming brass like 300blkout or 300ham’r from 223/556 or any wildcats made from other brass or high power rifle loads built for sub moa accuracy where consistent neck tension is very important but don’t see the need to anneal...

No packing for me, I’m going to shelter in place. Any of my friends can join me as long as they bring something to the table. Besides I’ve never quite understood the logic of a pack rifle. A takedown sure, to fit in your plane or vehicle but a rifle...

I have a bunch of .450 Webley brass that is balloon head brass. I have reloaded them with minuscule loads and 160 gr lead. Certainly wouldn’t them use for any real or even target loads.

I couldn’t find HF red last year so I bought the white, my plan is to mix what I’ve got to make a ‘pinkish’? Haven’t tried it yet. I shake and bake and got good results from the red. TOO MANY projects going on currently.

That changes everything then. If you just want a bubba special to play with then the only things you need to be concerned with are the bore, crown, trigger and bolts headspace. What 30cal said. Stay away from hard to find brass and calibers. Brass...

Looks like that would work but there’s a depriming rod in the sizing die and your brass has to be resized so why the extra step? Size and deprime in one pull.

I sold my set of .45scp shot dies last year or so but I was able to make shot shells that would cycle in my .45, thinking that I used.308 brass, #9 shot, punched clear plastic pieces to go over the shot and then painted it with clear nail polish to...

Got to agree with you kerplode, don’t see any advantage with the $100.00 ACP-keep it simple and just prime brass on your press duh. I do use an old Lee Auto Prime for my 30-06 and krag rifle brass but I load that on a single stage press. I have...

I have cut down 45-70 to 45-60 with the lee case trimmers and an old drill press a bunch. The shell holder went in the chuck and the pilot and cutter were in a press vise clamped to the table. Of course everything is trued up. Just a matter of...

In the 70s I started on a Pacific ‘C’ press, then picked up a used rock chucker but then got a new Lyman T2 and a second T2. Then a pair of really good friends gave me Dillon 550b’s that they weren’t using. After a good cleaning I recently set up...

I went the other way years ago with dedicated .45 acp greasegun mag lowers and multiple uppers, a rifle, sbr and pistol. Don't have a .40 or a 9mm. I would agree that it’s a bad time to start on an AR pistol project. Been waiting for a cmmg rotary...

My problem is ‘oh-there it is! and then I set the found part exactly where I can find it as I don’t have the rest of ‘it’ out—only to not be able to find the found part when I get the rest of ‘it’ out to use. Old age is not for wussies.
