MDI This makes it Laboratory Accurate. (See Pic)It's all about how close you can measure the indent. You do several tests and then average them. If you use a comparator your results should be within a tenth and with interpolation of the chart...

That recipe sounds good. I've had a lot of really good Antelope meat, especially the one's living in irrigated fields most of their lives. I cut out the back straps & then usually make jerky out of most of the rest. I have a really good brine recipe...

I have a few depredation deer & antelope tags but the weather has been so hot I've been holding off trying to fill any of them. Last year I took a muley doe & an antelope doe with my Ruger 10.5" 357 Maximum so I was hoping to use other calibers this...

A 5 am alarm clock should be against the law at my age but I rolled out & within a few minutes was headed out to try my luck at bagging a doe Pronghorn with a six gun. I had decided on 2 main guns for this hunt & the 357 Maximum (scoped) would be...

Since someone already mentioned my tool I will chime in and second the notion. It is true that it costs 4X what a Lee Hand Press does however it will stand up by itself which something the Lee can't do. This is kind of a big deal and it can also be...

I have been using my green one (RCBS? don't know) for 40+ years. I hit the floor with it and expect to see pieces flying every single time I use it. However for some reason the flying pieces never happen. So I guess it's good to go. I think I...

I have some Federal Factory .410 Slugs These are 125 gr. slugs at 1725 fps! That is pretty far up into .357 mag. territory . I have shot these in my M6 Scout and they actually go where you point them. BPI has some slugs with attached wads which...

A better idea would be to buy a new box of .410's for $12.50 and shoot them. At the rate you shoot them it wouldn't be economically feasible to reload them. If you decide to shoot alot more, then maybe. There are several hand reloading tools...

ON my Marlin 1895 CB my go to load is 33 gr of 5744 with an RCBS .45-300 FNGC boolit which drops at about 325 gr. That load produces 1550 fps +/- and I can fire 40 of them in one morning and not hate myself after. My gun has a Gray-Coil Recoil...

570 gr boolits shot from that gun will literally knock the snot out of you. A gun needs to weigh 12+ lbs to be able to shoot those boolits without killing you. Sorry for the bad news but anything above about 325-350 grains is going to be...

Load info: 9.5 gr 231 & 213 gr RFN from 7.5" Redhawk yielded 1165 fps for my load. I use .452 size cast in my RH and accuracy is better than I can hold. Never measured anything, what I already had on hand worked so I stayed with it.

Flux when smelting, lots of flux to clean the junk out. No fluxing in the casting pot, just add clean ingots and stir some. Skim off any accumulated trash.

Load them like you were loading for your 1911, they aren't picky if they fit the mag. You might want to slug the barrel to see if .452" size is large enough, mine needed larger to avoid leading.

The principal is the same and the operation is the same also. They both penetrate the material and you measure the indentation. In the case of the machine it measures the indentation for you. In the case of the Lee you have to measure it yourself,...
