I used a Frankford Arsenal inertia puller for years. Then I had to pull 150 308 150 grain jacketed bullets because of case headspace with some military brass. No way was I going to pull that many with an inertia puller. I got a Hornady cam lock...

Thanks for the answer Lloyd. Two years ago I shot a big doe with 2 large fawns. I killed the doe DRT. I figured they were big enough to survive on their own. We are infested with deer, so I shouldn't worry about them. This is in a 6 acre field in...

Yes, but I don't have a dog anymore. SWMBO too broken up over the loss of the last 3 to get another. The garden is inside 8 acres with a 8 1/2 fence all around. I have put electric fences all around to keep them off of my crops, but many of the...

How old does a fawn need to be to survive without it's mother? I have 4 does inside the fence of my garden. There are places for them to hide, but I can easily find them. I know that they have some fawns, but they are impossible to find unless I...

Deer archery season opens Sept 1, but it is bucks only for 2 weeks, then any sex for the rest of the season. They have moved me back into area 6 so it is 6 per season, not to exceed 3 bucks or 4 does. I have 4 does and a buck to get out of my garden.

20 years ago I had Lasic in my right eye only. I did fine with the right eye for distance and the left for reading. When it came time for cataract surgery last year, I got distance in the right and a little (-1.25) nearsighted in the left. Your...

Look up the top 10 most dangerous jobs in the US. Police and Firemen are not on it. They do ( the deputy in the Florida school shooting excluded) make a conscious decision to enter situations that are highly life threatening.

Unless you get large subsidies from the fed, State and City, It will never cost less than power from the grid. If you do not have access to the grid, it makes sense for a base load depending on where you live. If you want it in case of a TEOTWAWKI...

Fishman, try double electric fences. They have kept the deer at bay where I have them and keep them clear of grass. I have a 8 1/2 foot woven wire fence around my 8 acre field, but the deer jump it with no problem. Double regular fences also work....

I have copied and printed all the load data that I can find from manuals and other sources on the calibers that I load. These fill up 2, 2 inch ring binders. I keep load notes behind the data on every load that I try.

Mine worked fine for 9mm right out of the box. Many have problems. Many have no problems. There are forums to help get them to work . There is a site to buy aftermarket kits to improve on the standard loadmaster.

Because of this thread , I ate one of the pea size ground cherries that grow wild as a weed and it tasted like a sweet tomato. Not bad, but would be a lot of work to pick. You learn all kinds of things on Cast Boolits.

Nobody has listed Liberty civil defense. I use them mixed with my cast loads in my 9 and 380. They are both 50 grain deep hollow points that break off into 5 parts. 4 from the tip spread and the one from the base penetrates. The 9 has a muzzle...
