Pyramyd Air had a 20% off sale, "best sale prices of the year " they claim it the latest cascade of emails. I had been wanting a wildfire since reading about the revolver action, thinking that if the sights stayed on target through the 12 lb...

Very succinct. Nickle platting is slick, and hard, Some people say that sizing the brass makes the plating crack because it is not as flexible as brass. Flakes of plating could cause unneeded wear in expensive dies and barrels. I don't know if...

That looks like a nice rifle, for 20 dollars more you can get the Benjamin summit, pretty much the same rifle, but with muffler.

I looked around this morning, but only came up with some old weaver rings. How far apart are those two tabs with the screw hole? Could they be what grips the dovetail and really you only need a screw?

I may have something like that looking for a good home. It is possible it went away in a purge.

Duke is right, 5.7 brass does not require near as many steps to become a jacket. The time savings is well worth the cost of the brass. And the bullets I make with 5.7 brass weight very close to 165 grains with no lead exposed.
