Last week cast and loaded 100 200 gr .44 mag. Today it was the Lee .314 90 gr tc for the .32sw long. 55 cast, 50 loaded, nice hour spent enjoying myself. Does not get much better than that. Hot and muggy outside but my basement...

I have a single six convertable, .22lr or .22mag. Cussed it for years, just never could get it to settle down and make decent groups. Then one day I was taking a neighbor to the range and threw it in the bag with the .22mag cylinder in and a box...

ROFLMAO @ educated idiots @ NASA and JPL. Any farm boy can tell you even bumblebee's fly. If the study shows the bee should not fly it seems to me some part of the science is wrong. Danger, Danger Will Robinson!

I don't shoot thousands like Larry G but I have shot a lot of those sweet little .314 90 gr TC boolits. 7.62x25 Cz-52, .300BO, .30-30, 7.62x39, 7.62x54r, and .32sw long. They shoot great. I tend to run mine over moderate loads of Red Dot. The...

I don't use a bench mounted priming system. I do use, and love the RCBS Universal hand primer system. There is a definite "feel" to a perfectly set primer. As well as an primer going into a dirty hole which approaches that level of feel is either...

I have a Heritage rough rider in .22lr/.22mag. It has transfer bar, single action, plus a safety next to the hammer. I do load all 6, and don't worry about it. Currently it is hiding under the corner of my fly tying bench. Fully loaded,...

I have also had good luck with the dollar store fabric softener. I would start with aprox 75% softener and 25% water. Look at your shot and adjust as needed. Rinses clean quickly and easily with cold water. (Garden hose)

Alan in V thank you for the link sir. Just ordered 2 sheets, the smaller for 7.5 and under and the next size bigger. Should get me 2 groups, small shot 7.5 and smaller and the larger should be 5's and 6's roughly. Been thinking I need to...

I have a Hipoint Carbine in 9mm, and a Handi rifle stub barrel also in 9mm. Both are totally unfussy on bullet size, 125 gr to 158 gr they care less. Same for nose shape. I load mine with Red Dot. Common is 3 grains as they can also be shot in...

When it comes to calibers there are no hard and fast rules IMO. Look at .44mag. How do you get .44 out of a .429 or .430 cast bullet? .38 special is another. People label stuff to suit themselves. And it gets stuck there.

I'm really liking the .32sw long. Looking for a less than 400$ handgun with 5-6" barrel and sights. Either .32 H&R Mag or .327 mag would fit the bill. But finding guns chambered in either with the rest of my requirements has eluded me thus far....
