44magLeo, yeah, the Rockchucker spills those decapped primers everywhere, too. I seen where a guy build a little box to catch them. Also seen where a priming mishap with a tube results in a chain reaction and a primer tube launching into the...

There's a whole lot of people who know it's because 9mm has too high of a twist rate. I know 10-11 bhn can work just fine, if the cases are opened up enough to take them without damage.

I did not slug any of my bores. In my experience, it doesn't really matter how big the bore is UNTIL you have put the biggest available/practical bullet in there that will still chamber. In a locked breech pistol or a revolver, it doesn't matter if...

Easy 1. The length of the Lee press handle is adjustable. On a single stage press, you are doing a lot of different operations, and some of them require 1/50th of the force/leverage than sizing rifle brass, or push thru sizing. You can shorten the...

Mark another vote for OAL. Your Glock has a longer freebore/leade than your buddies'. You need to seat your bullets a little shorter if you want him to shoot your ammo. I have noticed the same difference between my regular glock 9's and my 5"...

I use .358 bullets in my stock Glocks. They fit several Glock 9mm barrels. I found the competition 5" long glock 9mm barrel has a shorter throat than the regular ones. I suppose this is the "match chamber." It still chambers the .358 bullets, but it...

I read the post where you thought about it, but I missed the part where you actually pulled it off. So I had to go back and find/read your post #12, lol. That was a slick trick with the hammer! Taterhead, yeah, we have a different experience. I...

Can't say for 44 mag revolvers. But, IME in reloading soft cast for Glocks, "case-swaging" of the base of the bullet can definitely ruin your day, even if the bullet is full diameter further up. Who'd a thunk it? I wouldn't have until I saw it for...
