I built a 32 flint lock in 2009, it's been shot maybe 30 times, life got in the way and now that I'am retired I intent to go back at it. I fired it off a rest a few times and got groups I could cover with a quarter, still need to finish regulating...

I had several of the duck billed mags , problem was you still couldn't remove then without the bolt locked back. Also tried one of the fixed 20 round mags, worked OK but was a little fussy to get to make dependable.. I found I was better off to run...

This is funny, deleted thread and we still find something to talk about. I guess that's what keeps this forum going. Just throw something out and somebody will pick it up and run. Tough little rifles in my opinion. Dave

I have looked at the Wolf site and there are several weight springs. I really don't want a heaver recoil spring as the slide hard enough to work now but would still like to improve the DA pull. What spring weights did most of you use for this...

Pressman Have a question, I have a Model 3 that I bought in 1971 and used for several years. Do the shell holder set screw holes ever given any problems ? I know the load is on the ram when sizing but is on the screws when backing out. Should the...

beemer replied to a thread Enfield Headspace in Military Rifles
If the rifle is unissued you probably will not have any problems. I bought an unissued one over 20 yrs. ago and the headspace was spot on and had a good chamber. The no 2 rifles were produced after the war and the rush was over. All the above...

I ran into the same problem with a 1949 336A, it would not chamber anything I had when seated at the proper length. I had the throat reamed slightly with good results. Dave

You have been given good advice. I worked in furniture for 48 years mostly making sample frames and patterns. Most of the jointer work was to give one true edge as a reference point for the rest of the operations. A jointer is not very good for...

That makes a nice 100 gr. bullet for my 32 Colt NP. It shoots like a 22 in my Nagant with Red Dot or Trail Boss. Dave

beemer replied to a thread 7 mm ammo in Vintage Ammo
I was given a couple of partial boxes of this ammo. I couldn't resist firing a few rounds out of my 95 Chilean Mauser. I shot four rounds off a sand bag rest and all were in about 2 1/2 inches and was about 6" high at 100 yds. I believe that's about...
