    One benefit I failed to mention is that it makes it harder to double charge a case because if you do not rotate the shell plate you will double feed into station one .

    Definitely less fiddle factor with the Dillons. I have 650s and 550s. The 550s are plenty fast for most people and caliber conversions are cheap,easy and virtually unlimited. The no bs warranty is truly no bs in my experience. Dogdoc

    Must be a lot of idiots in your part of the world blowing their guns up with Dillons. As a competitive shooter, I shoot more than most and without a good progresssive press, the reloading would be overwhelming. My son and I have a uspsa match this...

    Is there is any economy in this? Do not get me wrong, I admire the op’s ingenuity and skill but if you value your time,effort,and materials at all then why not spend less than 250 dollars and have one that works almost flawlessly without any hassles...

    Dillon 650 . Have 2 and almost never have a problem other than cleaning once in a while. I have had other progressives but the Dillons just work
