I wonder how much spring-back there is with those FMJ? You might want a undersized 30 cal sizer die...maybe .307? I'd use a swaging lube, like Lanolin thinned with s bit of neatsfoot oil.

I edited the microfiber out of your title. Have you thought about Heat treating your 94-3-3 I got about 24BHN, but with lower oven temps, you'll get less hardness.

If your application would lend toward a motor over heating, if sure would make sense to connect the purple wires as lightman states, so the overloads are in series with the switch.

One productive Saturday afternoon/evening, I piled up about 2000 from a NOE 5 cavity mold (358-128-SWC). I did take a break for I guess it was more like two sessions back-to-back...but all in one day. BTW, the week following that...

The Last cast Iron thread got me to thinking that I should be looking for a nice vintage #8 to add to my collection. Mostly I cook with a #9 Griswold and find it a tad large sometimes. I found a older Wagner at one antique store for $17. The...

Welcome to the Smelting world. That is some clever ideas for DIY ingot molds, even if you don't get much re-use of them. alloy for 35 Whelen: Air-cooled COWW straight should be good for "book" boolit loads, you'll want a hard alloy if you plan...

I save handles from broken garden implements like shovels hoes rakes axes and such, they usually are a dense wood and many times have a grain that looks like White Oak. I use these salvaged wood handles for many things that need a wood handle.

I doubt the "Simple lube" will give the performance in BP, that a known BP lube will give, like 50-50 BW-OO.
