    I haven't noticed that and always assumed slightly large or small shanks was more of an individual mold thing, that combined with alloy and mold temp can change shank dia. quite a bit.

    You are mistaken. That statement needs to include bullet diameter/caliber and even weight can change things. In my experience PC is a great lube but very little more. Add a little HBN to the PC even better lube

    The old Ideal gas checks I have are brass and the new Hornady are gilding metal, I don't remember any made of pure copper. I haven't herd the other about gc shanks being different sized either.

    I also have had problems with pierced primers and split Starline cases . Switching to SR primers helps but it would be nice to actually fire a .327 mag load instead of .32 H&R level loads. Loren
