Did you try vacuuming out that area where the tail of the pan holder sit down into a hole? I spotted granuals of powder down at the bottom of that hole on my units. Powder gets into every nook and cranny eventually. I have two RCBS ChargeMaster...

So bought the Lyman #55 Black Powder Measure. I was a bit annoyed to find a little rust in the bottom of the swirling tool marks on the big IRON #3 side inside the channel that holds the #2 medium slide. This measure got 1 iron slide, just happens...

Thanks for your post Grapeshot, it’s a comfort to know this primer flattening phenomenon is not restricted to only my twin set of Ruger NV’s. I’ll try (some day) a max 14,000 psi load of Titegroup, it’s the fastest powder I have on hand to see if...

Just looking for clarification. Your saying the compressed powder puffed up and pushed the bullet out of the cases .020”.? I use a compression plug to depress the powder column so I don’t distort my bullet nose during the bullet seating...

I use a Saturn brand funnel ordered from Brownells. This aluminum and brass funnel has long bump stamped into the funnel just above the neck. I slowly pour my Goex 2fg so the powder stream hits the raised bump and scatters the granuals as they fall...

The main point your missing is that because Titegroup is such a high density powder very very small quantities are used, this makes it impossible to visually detect a double charge in a tall case like 38 Spl. or 357Mag even with strong overhead...

And it only $125 per 22 oz. can! So stock up on the good stuff. Oh I forgot there is $59 shipping on top. Maybe it’s a hoarder selling off a bit of his stock pile now that he realizes he’s got several lifetimes supply of the stuff.

I have read that cast SWC bullets don't feed reliably through lever action rifles. I want to know if the RCBS bullet mold 45-270-SAA which casts a SWC bullet, will feed through a Win 1873. Also will it carry enough lube for a 24" barrel to use...

I like to store small quantities (600) of lubed bullets. I neatly stack the lubed bullets in layers in mtm case gard cast bullet boxes. (See the link below for pictures). I want to protect the sharp edges of the bullet bases so I stack the bullets...

The bad plan was to have it made in China. Build on time, on budget or working, pick any 2. You can't have all 3. I live in Canada, it you took all the Asian/Pacific rim products off the store shelves you have nothing to left in the stores.

greenjoytj replied to a thread Case Lub in Reloading Equipment
The first cases I ever resized I used the LEE sizing lube. Checked the dies a week later to use them again and inside it was orange with rust. I called LEE and was told the lube is water based. I kept the tube to remind me never to use it again. ...

Reading the instructions will help with the education part of your problem. But look carefully and all the plastic parts to see if any are cracked or if there is a flange of plastic thats blocking primer movement through the machine. Also make...

I was surprised that no one mentioned or voted for Hornady LEVERevolution powder. Maybe it’s still too new, therefore it hasn’t yet developed a fan base. Yes I noticed the 7+ year gap in this thread between posts 38 and 39.
