Some are Bullseye shooters. Some are plagued by inaccurate firearms and can't seem to hit anything. It's just the fault of those pesky firearms!

I shoot primer propelled wax bullets. They can be shot from an automatic but they must be single loaded. Shooting these at paper will really help. Also if you reload. You can load up some minimum loads using lighter weight recommended bullets.

I make coffee every morning. I dump the grounds on newspaper and they are dried out by the next day. I save them up in an empty coffee can and use them for my shot loads. They blast the carpenter bees and wasps and unlike the loads that use grits...

Old thread, but lighter fluid, mineral spirits , and even gasoline will soften and dissolve wax bullet residue pretty easy and quick. Using it on a bore brush, it goes faster, then change to patches. Easy peasy.

You have to use a hot plate to bring your mould up to heat and then your pellet mould will fill out.And keep the pellet mould hot in between casts to maintain temperature. In fact I use the hot plate to bring all hollow point molds and pins up to...

Open the ends of a cardboard box and throw a blanket over it. That breaks up the noise too when you shoot catsneeze load thru keeping rifle inside. You can put some straw on bottom of box and on sides inside. Finns used this trick against the...

Don't forget those hot glue bullets that are primer powered. They are fun loads too. They can have a bit of lead added and a grain of Bullseye or any fast powder and used for small game when they are cast using your larger size bullet mould....

I believe any ammo loaded in a cold area must be kept in a cold area till it is shot. I believe moisture from condensation will form inside the shells and make your powder wet and damp if this ammo is brought into a heated area. The ammo companies...

I found that instead of letting the lead flow directly into the sprue hole that just a little to one side of the sprue hole and make a bank shot of the stream into the hole makes a difference . First reduce the flow a little and then try it. It...

I use a card disk that I lay atop the wax before i press the shell down on it. When the primer fires, the blast hits the cardboard disk and pushes the wax out. The card disk is like a gas check and keeps the barrel cleaner much longer. YMMV One...

Always push unprimed cases into wax. Only prime them after wax is in case. Otherwise trapped air is compressed and makes wax creep back out of case before you shoot. Wax bullet can stick out end of cylinder tying up gun. It happens, though not...

When you hit the water on a lake at high enough speed you will break up or crumple like as if you struck a brick wall ! Similar to a skydiver whose chute failed to open.
