I am very pleased with the Weaver rimfire scopes. They have the proper paralax, 1 inch tubes, and better optics than a bunch of the budget centerfire scopes do. There not budget busters, there sized and balanced for rimfire rifles, and I can assure...

Mine are usually recorded on the outside of quart size Ziploc bags. There kept in the freezer where they slowly fade away! But seriously, I couldn't begin to tell you how many deer I've killed, same with squirrels, rabbits, and even ground hogs! I...

Anyone else try the CFE BLK? I'm shooting 50 gr cfeblk behind a 370gr lead gr and a LR mag primer in my 20 inch Encore. It shoots eally well and doesn't seem to punish as bad as the H110.

"In the case of the 375 H&H, an MV of 1600 fps would make the rifle a 200 yard rifle as well as making the rifle a whole lot more fun to shoot all year around without shoulder bruising." I can shoot it in romper stomper mode, but it's sure...

Well, Henry already has someone, or are making a .32 with the proper bore diameter. To be honest, I have an Encore that I could buy a barrel for cheaper, but if the price where rite a 327 would be nice. A big drawback for me is that I can't hunt...

I take you have no suppressors for 22lr? But, yes, they are their own kind of nasty. I thought everybody knew a non jacketed bullet less than 50 calibur would just bounce off someone over 100 yards!

Fit for a king, indeed! I bet kings didn't eat that good! :p For garlic, I like to cut the top of a whole bulb to expose the tops of all the cloves, drown them in olive oil, and bake them till there nice and brown. Then you break them apart...

I didn't realize that castor oil was used in these early radial engines. I use to build and fly model RC planes that used large glow fuel engines that burned a methanol castor oil blend, we burned the methanol at least, the castor oil just lubbed...

One is OragonTrail .501 WNGC 24 BH silver bearing alloy. The other is Hunters Supply .379 that I'm putting a gas check on and sizing them to 378, they say it's 18 BH no idea as to the alloy is, but they advertise it as a big game bullet. ...

I've killed around 15 with a patched .495 ball in front of 90gr of black from a side lock in years gone by. Thanks for the luck, and replies, btw, the 375 load is shooting rite at 2 inches at 100 with 4x, and the 500 just over 3 inch groups at 100,...

Should have listed the weights. 280 gr .375 and 370 gr in the .500. I guess I was unnecessarily worried they may be too brittle for hunting, but am expecting a through and through even on a shoulder shot. I anticipate shots well inside 100 yards but...

I've got a 375 H&H down loaded, and a 500 S&W carbine, that I have loaded commerical hardcast boolits for, that I want to use deer hunting this season. Both boolits are flat points and not pushed over 2000 fps. I've just not been able to get the...

My very limited experience with my Katahdyn in 500 S&W magnum, what's burning behind the slug and what that slug weighs, takes mine from, "that's not too bad, to some one call me a doctor!". I'm sure you will have no problem finding a load for that...

Evidently I picked the weakest factory loading for the 500S&W for my first shots (Federal 325 fusion)! I got 370grgc and stoked them with varying levels of H110, and boy howdy, the beast is unleashed! Not sure if I want to let her run, or rein it in...

I have an 1885 375H&H shooting cast. I seat shallow in the case, boolit on the lands, just flattening the case bell. To me it would depend on the throating situation of the particular firearm as to whether a crimp would be necessary for good...
