Btw, none of the cartridges we have discussed will run in an AR15! AR10, yes. One reason I went 260 to begin with is I'm a reloader and 260 can be formed from 243,7-08, and 308 with a little trimming and maby a neck turn.

We really do start to squeeze apples in with the oranges when we speak hunting vs target usage. There are just so many variables at extended range, bullet performance at the velocity of impact being a biggie, not to mention what that animal can do...

The 260 will run the long bullets even faster than the creed, but most are throated for a Spitzer bullet as not those long ogive bullets. A 260 just needs to be throated appropriately to kiss the lands, blow it out to AI and the CM really eats dust,...

"I love me some Chow Chow on black eyed peas." Three reason chow- chow was invented was so black eyed peas would be palatable!

Those must be East Tennessee brands, as I've never seen them in West Tennessee. Most of the chow- chow You see in the stores around here comes from Mississippi. You know you can make chow- chow? It's very easy to prepare and can be made from...

It's there some thing a 6.5 Creedmore will do that a .260 Remington won't? Even in the same gun platform?

In a few IT seems to just bebop rite across the FOV, then IT seems to come to the edge of the lenses, think about what direction to go, and then move on.

Ok, I'm still betting critter of some kind crawling across the lenses. This camera picks it up because of some anomaly not present to the other two, just like I have pictures I took of the low evening son reflecting of a million spider webs so that...

That's dead on. Copperheads have been known to strike and inject very little to no venom. We get a few copperhead bites at the hospital every year and can't remember any of them getting anti venom, most of the time it's just steroids. The worst bite...

Of course the down side is that it takes a 72 inch barrel to burn all the powder, and it needs set back and rechambered every 150 rounds!:groner:

I spend quite a bit of time in the Obion river WMA and until it gets cold you had better watch where you put your feet for sure! If you get into those bluff hills you'd be wise to do the same!

We have cotton mouth, copper heads, and a couple different rattle snakes in this county. We have a varied habitat that runs from dry hills to cypress swamps and farm land. My home is down near the swamps, so naturally we have cotton mouths around....

When I was a teen my Grandpa's farm was over run with sparrows, hundreds of nest in the big pines out front . That supplied a huge amount of target practice for us, and game for all the farm cats. You could walk out, shoot a 22, and cats would come...
