The link between non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and farm chemical usage is well established, all farm chemicals carry a risk! The old school farmer's like my Granddaddy, didn't take any precautions! No respirators, protective clothing, or respect for...

If I hadn't gotten the dumb emotional **** out of my head, I'd be sinking 8 inch x 6 foot steel pipes 3 feet deep, 5 feet apart, and filling them with concrete! I'm looking at protecting the most vulnerable high risk areas! The fella I...

Or do NOTHING, and one day it's my wife getting the mail, or one of my grandchildren taken out with the bushes! I have yet to turn up a single case of a homeowner being successfully sued by an automobile crash victim because they left the roadway...

A very well thought out and accurate reply, especially about how the Church isn't taxed with enforcing God's law's. Some folks do still have a problem distinguishing between ritual and law.

I'm looking into decorative barriers of some sort, I wish big rocks didn't have to be hauled in, there are NO boulders any where near here! I'm leaning towards making large planters from RR cross ties, and filling with dirt. They wouldn't look out...

So why is is the discussion of a political ideology veiled in a religion been allowed to remain in theology, and not been moved to the PIT?

It's a state road, in the county, no city involved at all. I will for sure be contacting the state DOT about this issue again! I'm also contacting my local state representative and see if he bring any pressure. If this fails I may have to do some...

There seems to be a confusion between theology and philosophy. The PIT and H&OT are the place to discuss philosophy, this is the area to discuss theology. If one chooses to make philosophy (humanism) their god, that's their God given rite to do so,...

Thundarstick replied to a thread Craftsman is back! in Our Town
The way I see it, there's a huge difference in tool quality needed, depending on weather you make your living turning a wrench, or are a fixer (like me). Craftsman is just a name, like Winchester, Marlin, or Browning. Does a Moroku rifle shoot as...

And! That's exactly how a floating check valve works! Unlike a ball valve that rotates around a pivot and must be smooth all way around. The floating check valve uses a back and forth motion so it only needs the sealing edge machined. Think of the...
