FYI, when emailing ...@vtext.com (or whatever), make sure your email is significantly less than ~150 characters to make sure it gets through. Some providers will break up the email into multiple messages, but it still isn't guaranteed.

Just as a FYI (only limited in application here as it's a bottlenecked case), but the preferred Trail Boss loading in my .350RM was at only 56% loading density. Outstanding accuracy, averaging 0.4" 3-shot groups @ 50 yds; ideal subsonic velocities...

Re: P&P and fixed sights. Although I love my adj.sight M60, I am very confident in my fixed-sight M64's; shooting extremely close to point-of-aim from 10-25 yds even with factory loads - so doesn't require load tuning. But even better, I have...

How about the Daisy/Avanti 853 single-stroke pneumatic ? Far easier to shoot /accurately/ compared to most springers - particularly the higher-velocity modern ones. They run about $200, and IMHO are the most accurate airgun at that price....

My Mossberg 500 didn't like to feed these from the magazine - all our Rem 870's did OK with them tho.

Happy to hear they are still putting development effort into that line; Red Dot & Blue Dot are my two favorite powders.

Another iteration along these lines - a study in contrasts between a WWII Inland & my rather more modernized version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9lj35k9haxq4z81/20180324_190028.jpg?dl=0 ...

OK, got to the range last weekend. This is a hunting bullet, but my results were not good enough to me accuracy-wise - these were some of the common groups at 50 yards from a very good rest: Rest:

ID45, your posted location is the WA / ID border; I can hand deliver nearly 8 lbs of lead to you if you are close to Post Falls ID ? (No charge - but would be happy to trade for some .38Spl boolits if you'd like.)

I've had my eye on this revolver ever since it came out; if S&W made a 5" full-underlug in this model I'd already own one - I shot my fathers' M29 4" a fair bit growing up, and never warmed to its 4" bbl.

2 lbs of SR4759. The only catch is that it is not in its original container, but I have reloaded w/ it & it behaves exactly as expected. $60 FTF in Western Oregon; anywhere between Salem and Eugene is quite convenient. Meeting up in Portland...

Thank you for your kind words. This is my first go at reloading the 308, but I must admit I am typically leery of going that route since I have experienced and chronograph speed variations with case/powder position with small powder charges...

I use a Lee turret press for 44Mag, 45-70, and 308. Not "fast" like my Dillon 550B for 45ACP, but I actually enjoy the turret press. I do the typical 4x dies: resize, expand, bullet seat, and crimp. I install primers by hand on an RCBS hand...

I know that design criteria forced the Carbine to be 30 cal, but I've always wondered how history would have treated the rifle&cartridge if the bullet would have had a nice wide meplat on the front instead of that RN. Would most likely have earned a...

Loaded them on Sunday, so I have not had a chance to go to the range yet. Hopefully this weekend! Thank you. This was a project by Ranch Dog from back in 2015, for 30 caliber hunting bullets for the 7.62x39, 308, and 300 Savage. Note that...
