    Annealing after deriming. Use whatever lube you wish for deriming. Only use quality swage lube for core seat and point form swaging. I now like to use RCBS case lube II for deriming only because it is so easy to rinse clean with only water....

    can TRIPPLE 7 substitute black powder be used as a barrel charge and a priming pan charge in a flint lock, will it ignite/ fire, work? or do you have to use 10 grains of 4 FG under it in the primary barrel charge and prime with 4 FG priming powder?

    Sounds like you are doing everything correct. I would have to suspect the die then..... try cleaning bullet cavity with clean cotton Q-tip? Any noticeable scratches? or imperfections in the surface finish?

    What caliber? I haven't found VLD dies to be any more trouble then any other point form die in my experience. Actually found a longer nose with less barring surface to the bullet should eject easier, but........ could be other reasons or issues...
