There is a lot of good info out there on shorter barrels in 300 blk. I've got a 7.5 inch I am starting to work with a HP 247 grain NOE that I have high hopes for. You may want to scan through 300blktalk.com.

You may also be casting a bit slow allowing the mold to cool. Either way get a bit more heat in the melt to get that mold a bit hotter and it will fill out. I've got a couple of brass molds that take quite a bit of heat due to the steel HP pins and...

The pipes should be soft but cut the joints out and melt them separately, the solder in the joints will make a nice harder lead.

My 7.5 inch SBR has a 1:7 twist. Been shooting the lee molds supersonics and switching over to the Noe 247 and the HP version both subsonic without any issues so far. The 1:7 twist should be suited pretty nicely for the longer heavier bullets, the...

Since PC would be colored I would think if you see any color it would indicate fouling. I have yet to see any indications of fouling in any barrel I have shot it in.

In this case WD40 would make a good flush. After all the WD stands for water displacement.

Was perusing a couple of sites and ran across HBN (Hex Boron Nitride) Coating. Seems there are some interesting benefits and they are using it in match shooting jacketed bullets with good results. David Tubb seems to like it along with selling it so...

Adultery in the military is a court marshal offense as well. As tempting as that is to take vengeance on him that way it may be better to let him keep his career and support the kids.

There are large frame glock lowers to take the 10mm and 45 acp magazines. Bazoka Brothers makes some kits for 45 acp and they make a lower block for the 45 acp grease gun mags but I think they are hard to find.

Be aware that upper is pretty much limited to a glock lower due to a lack of stick magazines for a AR lower with a mag block.

It only gets worse. We now have irrefutable evidence that he was unfaithful during a port call while deployed. The saddest part of this is my daughter will have to live with the consequences of his actions for the rest of her life.

This is proceeding fairly civilized. She took the property (Car and Furniture etc) that was hers before the marriage. He's just got to be a controlling manipulative "thing" arguing over little things like 2 or 3 video chats per week with a toddler....

There is no real property being contested. It's the children and visitation that is being contested. Part of the problem is this case also spans states since he is stationed in another state. That complicates things.

To me it's her decision and she has to live with it. We did not want her to marry him when she did but you see how far that got us. He is the son of a pair of alcoholics and she wants to break the cycle. She does not want her boys to grow up...

Long story short is my daughter is divorcing her husband of 4 years due to his drinking. Apparently she had been hiding it from us for a long time. She has a 19 month old and another on the way. Luckily she never had any second thoughts about coming...

Depending on sales I paid more for my Nikon than my Vortex and I think the Vortex Crossfire is a much better value.

While not a Buckmaster I have the 3x9x40 P223. I am far more impressed by the clarity of my Vortex Crossfire 4x12x44. Midway has them on sale occasionally for only about 20 bucks more.
