Good Morning! I'd like to buy a Springfield .30 Carbine. I would consider any condition if it's reasonably priced. Let me know what you have by private message or posting here. Thank you!

I would like to have one of those 95's or even a 91 but the price that people ask for them now is just ridiculous. I can almost buy a new Remington action for what the asking prices are for them right now. I guess my buying days are over for the...

The 2 Mississippi class ships were indeed sunk by German aircraft while sitting almost defenseless in Salamis Harbor in Greece. They had been converted to coastal defense ships and were in no condition to fight on the open sea or against aircraft...

Who used a 7" gun on a warship in WW II? That does look like a projectile as an armor piercing round. It might be from a coastal battery but I doubt U.S. warship. The last battleships to use 7" guns as secondary batteries were the USS Connecticut...

Cut a piece of copper tubing that fits the hole about 6 to 7 inches long. Find a couple of o rings that fit the tube tightly to lock the tube in place. Cut a piece of wood dowel and drill a hole in it on one end to make a handle for the tube. ...

I use a "bulls bag" filled wsith sand for the front rest and a rolled up tightly and heavy string tied old bath towel for the rear rest. I only use these for sighting in and sight verification. Works for me.

Nice shooting range Ozark! Using the limestone is a great idea and won't rot. Throw a moving blanket over the rock and start shooting. There is a AR-500 target maker in Broken Arrow OK with great prices. John Wayne

I have an old meat and fruit dehydrator that my wife and I used in the late 70's to dry fruit and make jerky for the kids. After the kids left home we no longer used it. One day the thought hit me, why not? So for the last 10 years or so I have...

My experience with mausers is that since they were made by so many countries with varying skill levels of workers makes them have variances in bores as well as other shortcomings. I have used military rifles since I was a teenager. I have found...

Buy the best, not necessarily most expensive scope. Do some reading on testing sites and you will find a good answer. Since antlers are not very tasty, I see your point. I have used Burris, Leupold and older Bausch & Lomb with great results. I...
