Dogwood is hard as china math. My mold whacker is a piece of dogwood from 1974, lots of dings but nothing serious. Need apiece at least 1 1/2 " in diameter, well dryed. Dogwood is state tree of Va. and maybe some other states, watch out for the "...

The 357466 shoots fantastic out of my Ruger SP101 .357 Mag with 2.25" bbl. The accuracy actually surprised me. I first had a single cavity mold and the went ahead and got a 4 cavity. Cast an alloy with a BHN of 8-9 and load in 38 Special brass. I...

Wow, good find! Check the muzzle crown for a small punch mark. Sling should be a 1907, does it have brass or steel adjustment hooks? Some are marked and dated and many are not. Brass ,usually WWI, all WWII after 42 were steel.
