I got one. Haven't shot it much. When I did shoot it I shot P/b on top of 90 gr of Gorex. My 58s recoil is about the same as my 54 cal and too a 54's Ball has a velocity advantage over a 58 cal. Did take aim at a trotting deer once going...

I can't argue that, just that I've heard that some is copper plated steel now.

Just make sure the Chore Boy is not steel..... Take a small magnet to check it. Kroil works wonders..... I have three cans of the Outer's Foul Out foam. I'll squirt the barrel full and let it set for maybe 30 minutes if I can stand it that...

I made a pile of 160 gr. 30 cal boolits and another of 120 gr TC 9mm. I also loaded up 4 rounds of 30/30 A.I. w/ 33 gr of Varget and some 160 gr. Lee cast.

I can't help you there. My two shotguns are both Remington, one an 1100 I've had since the early '70's. I traded a sporterized 1903 30-06 for it. The other is an 870 Express that I won in a raffle, and I don't think it's ever been fired. I got that...

Nice for y'all to ask us older people to remember such.. Other than a BB gun of some sort it was either a bolt action .410 or a .22 that my cousin owned. I think. I do remember shortly thereafter at Christmas my parents bought me a Sears .22...

I've just used Crisco, but it seldom gets that cold here. If they are still made the Blue & Gray products work well. I have seen patches freeze halfway down the bore when someone was using spit to give the barrel a quick cleaning.

If you want to keep mosquitoes away get a prescription for iron sulfate pills. You won't have any odor to humans, but the biting bugs will avoid you. I had to take them for a while and when Lori and I were out walking or even just sitting on the...

I couldn't hit where I was aiming with my Glock 19. Everything was low and left, no matter what I did. The Glock 17 was very accurate, but I ended up getting rid of all of my Glocks and got a CZ 75 SP01. It shoots .357 diameter boolits quite well,...

Primed and flared 12 30/30 a.i. cases and when my lubrisizer finally heated up I lubed and sized some 9mm boolits with CR to .357 diameter. Then I got a call from my oldest son saying that his current GF ex husband fell out of a treestand and ended...

I found these pretty accurate with any powder in my Green Mtn drop-in & original T/C side-lock barrels. (see LINK) As far as repetitive loadings? Black Horn 209 powder seems foul less which allows a few extra shots than all the {loose} B/P...

When using LLA you'll get a build up in the seating die. You'll notice that you boolits will be seating a bit deeper.

I don't get FedEx or UPS delivered here, because they won't leave the paved road. (I live down a long gravel driveway off the main road) They go to the nearest house they can actually see from mailbox and leave it on the porch. Well, it's obvious...

https://leeprecision.com/mold-6-cav-356-120-tc.html That works for all of my 9mm pistols, past and current. I do have to size it to .357 for the CZ, but the Ruger and both Glocks that I had, the 17 & 19 Gen 4's would gobble them up without...
