I'm loading up some mild loads for my 30/30 to fire form to 30/30/A.I. I noticed that a few had lube dents on them. I know that lube dents will iron out when shot in a standard chamber, but what about when they are to be fire formed? I'm believing,...

A fellow that I used to know traded an FIE .380 for a S&W 32/20 and got a box of cartridges With it. He called me up and I went over to his house to see ( and shoot ) it. The bbl. said .32 ctg. on it. He fired it and all of the brass split and was...

The ones that I saw in the local HF store weren't exactly what I'd call cheap, but it's been years since I bought my FA, so I can't be much of a judge anymore. The did look pretty good, though, especially the big one......

After I had a " tap & bang" Lee I bought a three hole Lee turret press. I had there or four extra turrets with different dies set up. It was a good press for loading pistol rounds. I foolishly traded it for a Lee O press, which I used until I...

While looking through some old once fired 30/30 brass I had I found one case that was nickle plated and the headstamp had "76" on it and then the caliber. I think it is Winchester brass, but I don't know for sure. No, I haven't taken a picture of it.

I cleaned and sized the 9mm brass that was given to me at the range yesterday. All once fired . Then I did the same with the 30-06 A.I. brass I fire formed. The 30/30 A. I. Brass I just punched out the primers as I don't have a die set yet, then...

Although I can't remember the name of the publication, back in the early 70's there was a magazine where the people went into a LGS and bought firearms otc and then tested them. They didn't want (according to them ) firearms that may have been "...

Well, I wanted it. I'm not trying to make it into a .308. I just kill paper with it. And I'm happy with it. I like my 30-06 A.I. too. It's not about a "bigger hammer" or even a need. No competition shooting, just a relaxing time at the range for a...

If you want to try it, go on ahead and try it. The worst that could happen is a light ball. It's not like you will be using it against living things, and it should penetrate your target. Have fun and experiment!

I was making mousefart loads for my 30/30 A.I. to fire form brass. I like to shoot targets when fire forming so I loaded up some with my ancient 160 gr Lee boolits and 6.6 grains of Bullseye. They were finger lubed with some old RCBS rifle lube I...
