Back when I owned three Buckmarks, and was shooting IHMSA silhouette, my best ammo was Eley Target. I shot a good number of 60x60 scores with that ammo. Also, CCI std vel. shot pretty near as good.

I need a Large Case Slider for a Lee Pro 1000 press. When I bought the press it came set up for pistol so it had the small slider. I tried Lee and Titan, none listed. So if you have one to spare let me know. Paul in WNY

I use Silicone Trivets for .30 Caliber Cast Boolits. I size the boolit and seat the gas check, then Powder Coat (Tumble) then use a set of forceps to place the Boolits in a cell - I space them so there is an empty cell on each side so no boolits...

Watch for some of the Surplus Ammo that still surfaces where the rounds are on stripper clips. As a general statement; stripper clips for 30-06, 7.62, 6.5x55, 7x57, and 8mm will all work interchangeably as the rims are close enough to each other on...

MUSTANG replied to a thread Soot on the neck in Cast Boolits
Possible that before you annealed the necks the tension was such that pressure was building up more rapidly before the boolit was released; resulting in a more rapid neck expansion and less gas blow by on the neck before it sealed. After annealing,...

Count the clicks when you resight for another barrel and it will go back to almost the exact spot when you put it back. You might have to give it a couple of clicks to get it dead on. I had a .22mag barrel for it but sold it. I just couldn't figure...

Yes, I showed two groups in my earlier reply and it was from two different barrels....a 17hmr and a .22lr. It's a five minute job or less if you've done it a couple of times.

I add beef steak fat (strip steak) and add it at 12-15% of the weight of the venison being ground. I quit add other stuff to it years ago when a butcher told me to try the strip steak fat instead. It makes the venison taste like ground filet.....the...

I use them in my TC Encore 357max rifle. They are not safe in a tubular magazine. They are basically a pointed bullet with a blunt end. Not blunt enough for a tube magazine though.
