The only cast bullet manuals are from Lyman. Lee's manual lists lead bullet loads but it's generic data. I prefer this since I don't use any of the molds in the Lyman manual. Manufacturer manuals are going to have data for their product. Don't...

M dies aren't meant for cast bullets. The expander plugs are for jacketed bullets. But they do properly expand a case neck unlike most die sets. NOE's plugs are better option for cast bullets because they're available in more sizes and you can...

If you're just starting out Lee is the cheapest option to get into reloading. This doesn't mean there is anything wrong w/ their products. I buy Lee dies first and if they don't work to my liking I buy another brand. I haven't had to do this very...

Are you going to size them? If so the rounded bands may disappear when you do so. While I prefer to cast perfect bullets. Some are used strictly for range use so I'm not real particular. As long as the base is sharp and there are no visible...

I'd try 35 through 38 again in five to ten shot strings. Three shots prove nothing statistically. Five really doesn't either but it's a little better than three. After that you can work in smaller increments to get it dialed in.

If you can't access the auto tune can you access the individual P, I and D settings? For temp control you only need P and I. I tune PID loops manually as part of my job. It's not that hard but does take time. As a rule of thumb you want less P...

Best to just ignore those that have no idea what they're talking about. I wish I could say I'm surprised by gun owners that don't support every aspect of the sport. But I'm not and it's what makes us a weak easy target.
