Yup. The Creedmoor, Hunting got in the way. We were there only long enough to shoot the 3P. Yes, I like to hard seat bullets about 0.050 to 0.100" depending on the chamber and bullet design.

Hey kokomokid, all, Food for thought... Necksized and expanded (if needed) cases Maybe, could be, how you choose the bullet, fit the bullet to the throat and a neck sized case, any small run-out gets addressed when the rounds get chambered. I...

Thanks Wolfer. That's the nice thing about the roller....... no need to be fast, just need the first shot to be dead on. I really like the creativeness on your approach to the scope base. Most all my rifles are all optically enhanced too, my older...

Great guns, what an epic adventure. Just saw a episode of Mountain Man last night that has this guy who was the only guy who lived on one of the bays of Kodiak Island and does a Brown bear guide service there for over thirty years. Great episode...

MOA replied to a thread Would you accept this?! in Cast Boolits
Yup. New gun or total replace. Maybe better off with a total refund and move on. How exciting, bet you can't wait to see how they will handle the next "FIX" you might have down the road. lol

Yes, I think they do have a nice carbine there. Now if they only would make one chambered in 45 Colt I'd be getting one.

Imagine trying to clean powder residue out of there? No way, no how. Unacceptable in my opinion, but I will always agree with a diplomatic approach...at first.

They staked the living heck out of it! It may be fixed now, but let's face it...your never gonna be happy with it. I certainly wouldn't be. It it was me, I would insist that they either replace the gun, or refund the money. Not cool...

I have a P220, and love it also. It's accurate and dependable, no complaints with it at all. My favorite load for it is the RCBS 201 SWC with 4.8 grains of Bullseye. I use Federal 150 primers in it though. I noticed that say that you are using...

This thread keeps coming up and makes me pine that I do not shoot my 338-06 anymore. I built my first 338-06 in 1979 and shot a bazillion (GG) cast bullets in it as well as hunting deer and elk. I had LBT make me a PP mold about 25 years ago....

I agree with Charles on this. There may an exception or two. Particularly when it comes to foreign milsurp rifles such as Mosin and other fat 30's. They can be all over the map too. What he says about chamber throat/free bore/leade still apply. On...

I have boiled smaller batches (several hundred at a time) of boolits in water with a little dish soap added to remove old lube. The lube floats to the top and can be skimmed off. Not knowing how many your "large number" is, I would say do this in...
