I'd ask for a few professional estimates, make an average in price. Then inform others involved of what you found on pricing, see what they say.

I can finish the wood, but can't do any other work on the gun considering my ffl doesn't cover gunsmith work. Wood would need to be removed from the gun, as the barreled action can't be left on the premises, again due to ffl regs.

With a new oven, put a test bullet in, and leave it for 20 minutes to be sure it doesn't slump. If not, you are good to go.

True. I've watched many families where you couldn't ask for better examples and guidance. The kid still turns out bad. Part of being a kid is rebellion against the parents. Fortunately, most grow out of it. Those who don't generally end up in jail...

I do it with flinters, too. Usually a few light bounces on the ground, or slap the stock if the snow is deep.

It may be normal for those safeties, but are not safe. I consider them a poor safety, and will no longer put them on a rifle. The nylon bushing wears quickly, making them unsafe in my opinion. Although they aren't cheap, I put Winchester style three...

Why not just catch them, and take them somewhere else? They aren't fast, and you can easily grab them by the neck or tail. Did it quite a few times when I was a kid.

I believe the guy who is in trouble for selling ammunition to the Los Vegas shooter is being held on the charge of making and selling bullets without a license.

When I build a rifle, I close my eyes, mount the rifle to my shoulder. Open my eyes, and see if I am lined up properly to the sight plane. Adjust as necessary. I adjust both pitch and comb height.

Logwood can be obtained from trapping suppliers. It is how traps are dyed. Aqua Fortis can give various colors. If you use it, one coat will generally give a nice reddish color on maple. Multiple coats will make it darker. I use a heat gun to do...

By the case is the only sensible way to order. It doesn't go bad, price will always go up. Sell a little to others if you want to cut costs. A case lasts me quite awhile, as at shoots I will always pick up a pound of powder from the prize blankets...

A friend was working the flight line at Maelstrom AFB at Great Falls. He said one night they pumped 250 gallons of avgas into a mosquito before they realized what it was. He is a very honest man, and I have no reason to doubt his word.
