I wore muffs religiously as a young man working around jet aircraft and shooting. What I was unaware of at the time was that the aircraft of the day (1960's) 707,727 Bac 111 were screamers with engines in the 130-140 DB range. The muffs we had...

Powder in the western NY area seems to be less expensive. I just bought 8 lbs of Promo for $114. Other shotshell/pistol powders in 4 and 8 lb. caddies are all less than $20. The most expensive I've seen lately was 8 lbs. of 296 my friend bought...

Those 4 lb Unique caddies should be just fine, I think they're from the 80's. Here is a thread on some powders older than yours....

Amen to that! I never could figure out what all the fuss over 9MM's was as I never had any trouble with them. The light went on one day, I use an M die when I load on the turret and my CH Auto Champ expander is just like the M die. I wasn't some...

Amen to that! I find my scores dropping in Hunters pistol a bit but my sporting clays is still about the same. Shotguns seem to be the last refuge for "old f**ts" judging by the age of my squad mates!

For what it's worth, my 9MM experience. I loaded for 4 different 9's and had no real problems with leading. I did get very light streak leading with the max velocity loads but it was no worse after 100 shots than after 1 shot. Accuracy at 25 yds...

I would suggest two things before you buy another pot. Set your cadence up so that you put your sprus back right after you cut them. I put mine back right after I refill the mold as the next spru hardens. They are still hot then and will not drop...

I did just that some time back on a 94 .357. I would not cut the hammer spring but instead would focus on the trigger return spring. that might get you where you want to go.

The Keltec and Ruger 380's are locked breach pistols. That said due to their light weight they can be a bit brisk in the recoil department. Myself I gladly tolerate the recoil for the ease of always having the gun on me and available. If I have to...

Try the Keltec P3AT. Reliable, inexpensive and only 8 oz. Easily carried everyday in your front pocket. The Ruger LCP (which was copied from the KT) also a good choice.

The Leupold custom shop might do it for you on one of their scpopes. I bought a used Leuopld scout scope that was marked in moa and had no clicks. I love it with my .357 rifle for various ranges shooting .38's.

I started loading on a SparT back around 1970 and still have it on my bench with it's original priming system. I have a Redding powder measure mounted between the expander die and seat die and like the poster above have 2 bolts tapped into the head...

My cpu is an Atom Z3735F 133GHz which from what I found on a linux site was designed specifically to run win 8 and will not run linux. The machinations shown to run on this cpu were way more than I wanted to do and then you had no sound or wifi....

After spending considerable more time poking around the web on this issue it looks like this is one of those situations "you can't get there from here". From what I see if I was a code writing Linux geek I might be able to get it to run but then...

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."
- C. S. Lewis
