If you want your Lee 4-20 to work well...you will have to modify it some and use clean ingots and stop putting sawdust in there for flux. Ever now and then you must scrape the interior of the pot liner when it's empty and do a little preventative...

You will need to resize the photos otherwise this site will not download them. I don't know what the actual limit here is, but if you do a typical "email size" that works quite well. Just select the above icon "insert image" then select a stored...

What does your taper crimp measure at the case mouth? I think you may be pushing your round out of the case some with the primer ignition and getting poor starting ignition pressure. With the round moving forward and creating more space behind...

JB...it's been this way for along time now, I suppose that there's just one forum left where NEWB's are welcome & encouraged, they have no fear of being berated and we try to bring them up with sound advice and plenty of links to the 'primer' type...

.35 Remington is very, very underrated by those who have never used one. I have taken deer and wild hogs with Marlin .35 Rem. rifles and .35 Rem Super 14 Contender, and it gets the job done great.

Just had my little sister Rhonda, 63yo out from Tehas last summer...took her for a ride in the mountains...every time I reached into the V Rod for a little throttle she'd scream & giggle. I stopped and ask her if she was afraid...she said..."no, I...

I would end up with almost 3k of bullets, probably looking good, but all would be undercured as there is no 120V toaster oven on the market that is going to increase the substrate temperature to 400 degrees with that kind of a load in 10 minutes....

Vinegar is very slow to work so if you make a 50/50 mix with white vinegar and standard 3% hydrogen peroxide it will work much better and a lot faster. Use caution in handling.

With a non-convection oven I would suggest doing a single rack of bullets at a time. Convection is not a miracle worker, but the moving air does help in eliminating cold spots. However, when I cook with 5 full racks holding almost 3K 9mm bullets...

The smash test tests the bond and elasticity of the coating, but does not indicate the hardness of the polymer. An undercured bullet will pass the smash test. Charlie Darnall of Freechex actually came up with an idea that is quick & easy. And...
