Good price on the oven. I would first check to see if it will go to 400 degrees and how well it holds that temperature. A Taylor glass Oven Guide Thermometer is a real asset for doing this check and monitoring you curing process.

A wire grid baker's cooling rack serves the same purpose to act as a spacer and to keep the bullets from toppling and come is various sizes. A large one will cover up to a half sheet bakers pan. I would suggest self closing tweezers instead of...

Use a case like a 357 and tap a hole like a 10/32”, grind the head of the screw like a valve top carefully fitting to the ID of the case and cut a straight slot on the bottom of the threaded shank. Don’t quite thread the full length of the tap into...

I just posted the video about wanting to race to stir up some interest about the upside down press again. At one time here we had about 3 or 4 fellas working on their own designs at the same time. Since sizing is a monotonous and sometimes...

Thanks for the kind words Tater. That RCBS Jr. press has a handle hole threaded on the backside of the cam. When it's mounted upside down just put the handle there and your puling down to size without any mods.

I would suggest make your own. Salvage an oak or hickory handle out of a shovel. Cut it to your desired length then drill out a tapered hole in the center down a few inches. Pour melted lead in the hole to add whatever weight you desire. Wrapping...

I can't comment on the new pot, but my old Pro Melt has served me for years. I just give it a complete cleaning once a year and it still works like new. If I lost mine I would probably buy the new one just because it would be backed by RCBS, so far...

If you can weld, cutting down a propane tank makes a great smelting pot. Even if you can't weld, but can work with your hands and have a few tools making a pot wouldn't be too difficult. This is one I made with a bottom pour, but a simple melting...
