Very true sir. I have a hard time not mentioning the Bellm when the subject comes up for any Illinoisans that may not know about it. I've got a factory T/C Contender bbl in Max that I've been meaning to ream out 9x45 after reading...

An extreme test for this is to put a bit of lube (a chunk the size of a boolit) on a paper towel, then set it on the dash of a closed up car on a sunny day. Look and feel if any oil migrates to the towel.

The 9.3 X 82R was the longest. I used it to form the cases for my 9.3 X 75R Nimrod. I can't remember if there was a 5th but I believe you're correct. I'm not certain if the 9.3 X 57RD was the same as the X57R on the X72R case but it was also...

That's quite a bit different and a bit older cartridge. 'Course, it's still being loaded today and works as good as it ever did. I have an old German single shot built on a Jones underlever in 9.3 x 62R which is based off the 9.3 X 72R and it's...

If I were making a boolit lube to fit your parameters "I like that it is an easy formula to make, just a few common ingredients and relatively quick to make". I'd use 357Maximum's recipe for 666+1, AKA: Satan's lube. But it does get soft in high...

I hope you don't get discouraged easily. When I first started casting, before I ordered a Lee bottom pour pot, I tried to cast a few with a Lee ladle and a old used 45 cal 2 cavity Lee mold. I didn't have any success, but I was doing this while...
