Thank you. I do like the more leisurely pace, but if I need to crank out a lot, I will use the press.

Down through the last 2K years, when things are good, there's a whole lot of "Jesus Loves You". When times are bad, it's "You're going to eternal ****ation". There was no idea of Hell, Satan, and ****ation in the early Jewish religion.

Back from the range. I shot only my slug loads, to see if the scope and mount were holding solid. I fired three rounds at 25 yards with my Lyman 525 loading . The 3 shots measured .5". One nice little cloverleaf. I fired 5 shots at 50 yards. They...

I have several old German firearms, drillings, combination guns and stalking rifles. Usually the cases aren't very difficult to make. Biggest problem comes if they are on what is often called the Mauser "A" base. Even those can be made if a fella...

Last time I attempted to clean WWs I found that the lead only made up 55% of the mix. Either another caster had cherry picked the large lead ones, or the mix was so lacking in lead that it was no longer worth the effort. Having tonnage already in...

I went back to the range last Friday. I did get the scope mounted. The saddle mount seems to be very rigid. I switched to Herco powder, but all else with the loads was the same. At 50 yards, one group of 4 shots measured 3 1/16" ctc, on a diagonal...

I have the same mold hc18 mentioned except I don't remember the "t" suffix. It's become my "go to" mold for all the 8mm's I own. I have to size them a bit different but the bullet takes it all in stride and all my rifles love it so far.

Lately, I have been reloading 44-40 using an original Winchester mold and a Winchester tong tool. The mold throws RNFP boolits at 201 grains using soft lead. The ammo feeds and shoots well in my C&B conversion cylinders, USFA '73, Rossi '92, and '75...
