    Witha rifle length gas system you may have a issue being that's a rather fast powder to be used in this application. Just my own thoughts but 4198 or RE7 would be better suited

    Bullets with little cups attached sound like Power Belt bullets . I'd try a few varieties of sabots and full dia conicals in it and see what I does .it certainly should shoot better than 5" at 50 yds

    I have seen and read about guys using raw shrimp as catfish bait ,i fish mostly lakes for channel cats and use cut up bluegill or crawlers . Anyone have luck with raw shrimp ? Do you let it get funky or just right outa the bag ?

    Are you shooting non gas checked bullets(plain base ) now and getting the leading ? You can shoot plain based or non gaschecked bullets but you will need to use a load that keeps the speed down around 1300 fps or less .
