    As like casting machine said I ve shot quite a few over the years and agree . There covered in ticks and all other assorted creepie crawlies . If I was down and out hungry maybe ! But I'm not so they get thrown beside the the fence row .

    My 300 BO would run with cast and 4895 all depends how they are set up . Wasn't the fastest load but would function 100 percent with a case full under the Lee 155 or 185 . That 3031 the OP has would prob work as well just never tried that one in...

    For standard vel or target stuff it's a tad too slow . It it does do well when the pressures are up in the +P range though or heavier than 230 gr bullets used it a good bit when I loaded 240-250 gr swc in my ruger P90

    50 gr 2F is a good place to start for target loads, you can drop down to 40 gr for 3F that's what my rifle likes for trail walk loads . Go up or down 5 grs and see what the rifle tells you . Tim
